Our Mission

Officially organized in 2000, we are a statewide, all volunteer, non-profit association dedicated to improving the personal financial literacy of children in the Granite State. The mission of the New Hampshire Jump$tart Coalition is to advance youth financial literacy and financial equity, through communication, collaboration, and support for effectiveness in financial education.

Our vision is for personal finance to be included in the education of all students. NH Jump$tart provides the collaboration needed to ensure this education. We have a unique proposition because NH Jump$tart is a coalition of organizations and individuals, which share a commitment to the financial education of youth. Working collaboratively, more resources and expertise are available to accomplish this task.

What We Do

NH Jump$tart is an independent affiliate of the national Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy. The national Jump$tart Coalition is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization headquartered in Washington, DC. Founded in 1995, the coalition includes more than 100 national partners and a network of 51 state affiliates that share a commitment to #afinlitfuture and to working collaboratively toward common goals

NH Jump$tart understands the power of the community in shaping what is taught to our children. In a state where local educational control is important to its citizens, we work extremely hard in promoting our message of youth financial literacy to parent groups, educational leaders, local school boards, civic organizations and state leaders.
