Optional Activities

Financial Planning Clinic

Thanks to Jump$tart Partner, the Certified Financial Board of Standards, Inc., we are once again offering you personalized financial planning sessions, tailored to your own situations, from highly qualified CFP professionals.

The Financial Planning Clinic is an optional opportunity for you to pose your specific financial questions to professional financial planners, who are volunteering their time and expertise to provide you with unbiased financial planning information. All financial planners participating in the Clinic hold the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and are highly qualified to discuss your financial goals.

These private consultations are provided at absolutely no cost to you. Further, the volunteer CFP professionals are not allowed to sell products or services or solicit further business from you in any way. In other words, there are no strings attached!

If your spouse or domestic partner is in DC with you, he/she may participate in the consultation, even if not registered to attend the rest of the conference.

Only Two Steps to Participate

•  Just indicate your interest in attending the clinic when you complete your conference registration. We will arrange a 20-minute appointment for you to meet privately with a CFP professional within the scheduled time period.

•  Click here to complete the Personal Data Organizer and then print and bring it with you to your appointment.   The Personal Data Organizer will prepare you for the types of questions the financial planner may ask. After you complete the three-page form, you'll be provided with a printer-friendly document of your responses.

and 8:00 - 9:30 p.m.
