Advocacy Work
The New Hampshire Jump$tart Coalition is actively
engaged in the development of an Investor Simulation
for High School Students
The coalition received a grant from the Center
for Public Responsibility and Corporate Citizenship to develop and produce
an investment curriculum for high school students. After completing
valuable research and conducting a needs assessment throughout the
state, the coalition produced a three module simulation that covers an investor's experience from college to retirement
using a number of "life" scenarios. The coalition is currently working on a second version which will add more three more modules to this teaching tool. To learn more click here
Early Awareness Efforts The coalition recognizes that success in changing the course of financial literacy must begin at an early age. Our Early Awareness Committee advocates the importance of developing a savings habit in elementary school-age children.
